Today is a very special segment because it marks a particular milestone for The Organic View, which actually launched just this past July! It is hard to believe that the public response has been as tremendously receptive as it has been. I have had the pleasure of interviewing some of the top leaders in the organic industry such as Michael Potter, CEO of Eden Foods, Arran Stevens, CEO of Nature’s Path, Chef Brunacci and Philipp Posch, the folks who turned Trump Chicago into the first ever hotel to offer a certified organic in-room dining menu. Fine organic chefs such as Chef Massimo and Chef Bryan Au skillfully explained how easy and delicious organic food is to make and enjoy! Internationally renowned animal advocates, Laura Lassiter, Michelle Buckalew from AnimalWorldUSA.org and pet food advocate, Susan Thixton, founder of TruthAboutPetFood.com, Betsy Saul, CEO of Petfinder, animal healer Jen Ward, whose work may be tiresome but they still continue to fight for those that cannot speak for themselves. Then there are the unsung heroes of farming, American Dairy Farmers: John Kinsmen, Joel Greeno, Joe Augusto, Joaquin Contente who fight to keep our milk local, organic and growth hormone free!
I have had the pleasure of meeting women such as Lisa Rogers, Kristen Cotte and Kayla Fioravanti who are not afraid to research information and then educate others with the actual truth about the personal care products industry. My favorite Soapman and yours, Larry Plesent , CEO of Vermont Soap, who continues to educate people about the importance of organic. Motivators and health coaches, Lydia Proschinger, Lisa Welko, CEO Ellipse Fitness, Kristin Steede and Todd Weiss who enlighten people about good emotional and physical health.
Then there is Dr. Nancy Ostiguy and Dr. Marla Spivak both top professors working to cure Colony Collapse Disorder. My favorite fashionistas, Fatoula Lambros, CEO of Femilia Couture and especially, Bena Burda, CEO of Maggie’s Organics who raised awareness about the importance of being certified organic and Fair Trade Certified. So many wonderful people and I know I did not mention everyone, but you are all great. These people are so significant because they do what they do and are not looking for recognition. They are doing the right thing because they know someone has got to do it!
As a token of gratitude, love and in honor of the true meaning of Christmas, I have invited some very special people to help celebrate Christmas the old-fashioned way with good friends, good food and good music! Today, my good food friend, Dennis Weaver, Founder of Change Your Food, Change Your Life and I will have the honor of welcoming Pastor Gary L. Wyatt as well as my favorite Organic Jazz Singer, Ellen Livesay who will be performing live to help us celebrate the reason for the season!
Please enjoy the voice of Pastor Gary L. Wyatt as he gleefully sings the songs which put us in just the right spirit of love and joy and Ellen Livesay, our favorite Organic Jazz Singer!
COMMAND PERFORMANCE! Ellen Livesay will open our Christmas Show, Thursday, December 23rd, with a LIVE performance of I’d Like To Thank You from her Studio in Taos, NM.
